Let your visitors know they can trust you. If they feel like you’re trustworthy, they are more likely to become a lead for you. Let them know you won’t spam them if they give you their email address, show testimonials of people who have taken advantage of your offer, show “trust” icons and badges if they’re appropriate, show logos of other businesses that you do business with. These things may foster trust – but they don’t always do so. If your attempts to foster trust actually make you look suspicious in the eyes of your visitors, then don’t do it. The only way to know for sure is to split test.
