When you optimize your videos for search, they can serve you for years!  Some of my most popular videos are years old and still get many views every day from search traffic.  Place your videos on YouTube, and optimize your Title, Description, and Tags.  Your title should contain your main keyword relevant to the video content.  The description should be as long as possible and be optimized around the same keyword and other relevant keywords.  The tags should contain all of the keywords relevant to your video content.  Enable embedding, embed the video on your website (like a blog article), and duplicate the settings when you upload it to Facebook.
